Haiti - Building Markets
Launched 2009

The Sustainable Marketplace Initiative in Haiti began to support local market development by reducing barriers to local procurement and increasing the participation of local businesses in reconstruction efforts. To accomplish this, Building Markets used a suite of services to help buyers and local suppliers to connect and do businesses in what is an extremely challenging environment for the private sector.

Since its inception in 2009, the Sustainable Marketplace Initiative in Haiti has supported local market development.
