Meet Gladys Richards Kollie: Administration Finance Officer

We like to talk about success, but we also want to showcase the people who are directly responsible for it. With our newest project in Liberia ramping up, we’re taking the opportunity to do that right from the start. If you are visiting Liberia for the first time, taking Gladys Richards Kollie’s advice sounds like a nice thing to do. “Ask for help and it will be rewarded with hospitality.” Gladys joined the Building Markets team because “it is here to develop and strengthen the Liberian economy…and create more jobs for Liberians. I want to be a part of this,” she says.
Gladys is the Administration Finance Officer of the Sustainable Marketplace Initiative. She assists Emmanuel Adams, the Administration and Finance Manager. Like several of her counterparts at Building Markets, her favorite dish is palm butter with rice. She likes to read books and watch movies when she isn’t working. She also agrees with several of her coworkers that the strength of the Liberian market is its “potential to grow if help is given.” We’re glad to have her on our team to help give the market a boost.
