Research and Impact Director
Adriana has over 20 years of expertise in designing and implementing evaluations for social programs of the National Government. She also has extensive experience in formulating public policies for the sectors of social inclusion and business development. Her research work is associated with CCT (Conditional Cash Transfer) programs and productivity, which has been used by policy-makers as evidence for decision-making.
She began her career at the National Planning Department of Colombia as an advisor to the Directorate of Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Policies. She also served as the Coordinator of the Technical Studies Group of the Social Prosperity Department, which is the government’s social welfare agency. In addition, she has worked as the Director of Economic Development Studies at the District Secretariat of Economic Development, where she led the development of various policies for economic growth and social inclusion. In recent years she worked as the Head of the Productivity Observatory at Colsubsidio (the largest family benefit fund in Colombia), where she conducted research, and recommended strategies for improving productivity across different sectors.
Adriana has a BA in economics from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia and holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina.
