Technical Advisory and Mentorship Officer
Carlos is an Industrial Engineer with strong experience in driving innovation, promoting sustainability, fostering entrepreneurship, and maximizing productivity. He earned his degree from the Autonomous University of Manizales, and has since gone on to complete a Strategic Management Specialist program, as well as being currently enrolled in a Master’s in Business Administration.
Carlos’ professional experience has been predominantly in government, where he has played a crucial role in promoting financial access to entrepreneurs and SMEs. He understands that a business’s growth trajectory is largely influenced by the mindset of its leaders, and has worked tirelessly to identify the key elements that can help improve productivity, adopt new knowledge, and strengthen various actors within the ecosystem.
One of Carlos’ main accomplishments was leading an ambitious project for the Secretary of Economic Development. This project involved almost 5,000 companies and 60 people providing technical assistance to SMEs, developing public goods, and gaining access to new markets.
In addition to his professional achievements, Carlos is also a devoted father of two beautiful daughters. He has a passion for reading and is committed to helping Bogotá and Colombian businesses. Through his work, Carlos is dedicated to improving the quality of life for many families.
