A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 15 years’ experience in financial leadership and accountancy, Hilal has proven ability to implement effective financial strategies and management systems. She has worked to design and implement new and/or improved approaches to expenditure management, grant optimization, risk and people management. She is a dual British and Turkish national, fluently in Turkish and English. She is fully versed in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) applicable with many years of grants financial management in non-profit sector. She is extremely adept across the major suites of accounting and financial management software.
