Malak Touma

Verification Officer

Malak Touma joined “Building Markets & Give Directly ‐ Joint Earthquake Response Project” in April 2023 as Verification Officer. Malak is responsible for identifying potential individuals and households eligible for cash assistance based on predefined criteria, documenting their information, and addressing any complaints or feedback from beneficiaries. She also responds to callers on the BM call center/hotline and reaches out to Building Markets through its communication channels.

Prior to Building Markets, Malak worked Ipek Yolu Development Agency ‐ SEECO Project.

Malak Touma graduated from Mardin Artuklu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and International Relations.
