Pınar Yapanoğlu joined ICMPD as portfolio manager in 2018 in the area of migration and development nexus. Pınar has a BSc. Petroleum Engineering at Middle East Technical University and holds an MBA from Bilkent University. She has long years of executive level, managerial experience in different institutions and organizations as well as advocacy, business development, strategic formulation, framework & developing policy recommendations and program design. Pınar started her career at Turkish Republic Privatisation Administration and continued as an entrepreneur to establish Alfateks Joint Stock Company. Lateron, she pursued her career as a Trade and Investment Advisor at British Trade International, took the role of Vice-President of the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Platform for Türkiye, and joined Tesco Kipa Türkiye as Government Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator, continued her career at Grayling Public Affairs as the Türkiye Government and External Affairs Director. After this duty, Pınar joined UNDP Türkiye, as a Project Manager under the Inclusive Growth Portfolio.
