Technical Assistance for Capacity Building for Fisheries Producer Organisations and Provincial Agricultural Directorates in line with Common Market Organisation (CMO) of Common Fisheries Policy (CFP)

The purpose of this contract is to increase technical and institutional capacities of provincial directorates of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and fisheries and aquaculture producer organisations. Within the scope of the contract, mainly following services shall be provided by the contractor:
— development of software for fishery and aquaculture market data collection system and trainings on the use of the software,
— development of software for national fishery and aquaculture producer, organisation registration system and trainings on the use of the software,
— setting-up a fishery and aquaculture market information system (FAMIS) portal,
— conducting market and value chain analysis for certain commercially important species and trainings on the importance and necessity of the market and value chain analysis,
— assessment of the current auction and sales system and the future role of fisheries and aquaculture producer groups in Türkiye,
— raising awareness for the fisheries and aquaculture producer groups and the provincial directorates on the functions and benefits of the alternative auction systems in the EU,
— organisation of workshops and seminars on fish auction systems,
— information exchange meetings as study visits between Turkish Producer Groups and staff of relevant public institutions in the EU.
