Ei Ei Cho (Jel Li) joined Building Markets Myanmar as a Communications Coordinator in October 2019. He is a transgender man and also a co-founder of Rainbow Six, which is a group of transgender men working for LGBT rights in Myanmar. He has 7 years of experience in social work including disaster risk reduction, gender equality, SOGIE and disability programs with a variety of INGOs, NGOs and CSOs in Myanmar and Cambodia. Previously, he worked as a Communication Officer with Gender Equality Network and as a Documentation and Communication Coordinator with Action Aid Myanmar. He has extensive experience in: article writing, news and case stories, press releases, graphic designing, and social media communication. Jel Li also volunteered to organize the Rainbow Life Museum, which illuminates the LGBT experience in Cambodia. He graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Medical Technology from University in Yangon.
