Research Roadshow: The Positive Economic Contributions of Refugees
Gaziantep, Ankara, IstanbulBuilding Markets invites public sector, private sector, and development partners to hear from our experts and gain insight into our experiences supporting the integration of refugee small businesses into the Turkish economy. The conversation will highlight Building Markets’ novel market research on the positive economic contributions of refugee-owned small businesses that create jobs, livelihoods, and independence for themselves and their Turkish neighbors. Together, attendees will explore emerging trends and opportunities for refugee businesses, the challenges these small businesses face, and what actions stakeholders can take to further the economic empowerment of both refugee and Turkish-owned small businesses in Türkiye.
All events will be in-person with simultaneous translation in Arabic, English, and Turkish and will include an opportunity for networking.
