Women Entrepreneurs Spring Festival
HatayIn celebration of International Women’s Day, Building Markets, in collaboration with Takaful al-Sham and the Antakya Municipality, will host the Women Entrepreneurs Spring Festival from 11-13 March. The event will feature exhibitions from local women-owned businesses, as well as skill-building workshops and one-on-one advisory sessions with a mentor from Building Markets.

Over 30 women-owned businesses in the city of Hatay joined us for the Women Entrepreneurs Spring Festival. During the event, participants had the opportunity to exhibit their hand-made goods, network with each other, and identify potential business opportunities. On the sidelines of the exhibition, Building Markets’ Training Coordinator Aladdin Aksoy hosted a training on strategic marketing, and a successful business owner from the Building Markets network, Lobna Helli, conducted one-on-one mentorship sessions with several of the entrepreneurs. For participants, the festival was a positive experience. “This event is an encouraging step for SMEs to enter the market. It brings us visibility in addition to social cohesion, instead of staying behind the scenes,” said Yasamin Al-Hasan, owner of Yasamin Ideas.
