Abdullah Hakmi joined Building Markets in February 2020 as a Business Development Associate, and now he is the Business Development and Partnerships Senior Coordinator. Abdullah is originally from Homs, Syria, and worked as an electrical engineer who graduated from Al Baath University, Syria. He has a Diploma in Language from Izmir Katip Çelebi University, Turkey, and a Management and Organization Master’s Degree from Marmara University, Turkey.
Previously, he worked as an International Sales Engineer at Lightmaster. His Arabic, Turkish, and English skills have enabled him to contribute to exporting efforts in his past role.
Abdullah has completed a series of courses to further his knowledge of business, including “Introduction to Marketing” and “Principles of Marketing” through Kiron. Because of his success in completing these modules, Kiron invited him to participate in an on-campus course called “Marketing and Consumer Behavior” at Istanbul Aydin University. He has also completed many courses in entrepreneurship and communication.
