Job Creation in Afghanistan: Putting Aid to Work


The findings presented in this report offer the first assessment of jobs created or sustained in Afghanistan as a result of international spending. Results are based on a survey undertaken with Kabul businesses that won international contracts with the help of Peace DividendTrust’s Peace Dividend Marketplace from 2006 to 2011.The survey was administered in Kabul, Afghanistan, from March 2011 to May 2011.
